Located just 17 miles west of Boulder in Nederland, Co., we have been mitigating properties and providing warmth to home owners in Boulder, Gilpin and Jefferson counties since 1981. Family owned and operated, the husband and wife team of "Phil & Jane" form the core of High Timber.
Phil began his career in forestry, fighting forest fires in Montana. He went to work seasonally for the Colorado State Forest Service, and then on to Golden Gate Canyon State Park, where he ran their logging operation. He started his own firewood and logging company in 1981. Phil and Jane were married in 1985, and thus began High Timber Firewood & Logging as we know it today.
High Timber has evolved with the times. Leading the industry in wildfire Mitigation, we have helped hundreds of home owners address and resolve the ever increasing requirements of the insurance companies to bring the homes they insure into compliance with the current fire mitigation codes.
